CME GLOBEX RECAP: World equity markets are mixed Monday morning, with the
U.S. markets higher overnight. Last week was a quiet week of trade, as U.S.
economic data was light, and many different members of the Federal Reserve
spoke. Their opinions represented a broad range of views on future interest
rate direction, and that left traders uncertain about the timing of the 1st
interest rate cut.

After a very light week of economic data, this week is very busy. There are
no major reports on Monday, but the Producer Price Index (PPI) and core PPI
data will be released on Tuesday. Wednesday is very busy with the Consumer
Price Index (CPI), core CPI, Retail Sales, the Empire State Manufacturing
Survey, and the Home Builder confidence index. Thursday is initial jobless
claims, Housing Starts, Building Permits, Industrial production, and Capacity
Utilization. Finally, on Friday we get the U.S. leading economic indicators. In
Agriculture, we will get export inspections on Monday, NOPA crush numbers and
weekly ethanol production on Wednesday, and export sales on Thursday.

Average up 125.08 at 39,512.84 and the S&P 500 up 8.60 at 5,222.68, The 10-Year
Treasury yield ended at 4.688%. Early Monday, the June Dow Jones Futures are up

100 trading down 0.02%, spot futures of Germany's DAX is trading down 0.14% and
